Another “Born Free” – Christian, the lion

I loved the movie Born Free when I was a kid and so this video is very “aww…” inducing.

    Isnt it funny how people can connect to animals — pets or otherwise easily. They understand what the animal might be feeling, they try to anticipate that animals needs and wants….but the very same people fail to apply that logic to other human beings. Why are relationships so complicated and why is easier to have a pet than a husband ?! 🙂

  • May be I am a cynic but something about this video screams ‘fake’ written all over it.I do hope I am proved wrong 🙂
    And btw first time commenting here so might as well add this:
    Saw yr ‘Untitled’ somewhere on this blog and found it to be interesting on many levels – the link has gone missing – Is there a url somewhere?

  • I snopesed it and it says its true after all.

    @ylenol – Lol.

    @Vidya – yes, it is true. The Wikipedia link I provided that confirmed it. Snopes is always good too though.

    And you can find “Untitled” here. Thank you for your kind words about the film.

  • That was indeed a moving video. Thanks a lot for sharing.

  • Love is a part of our life, whether with the animals or with the human beings. It depends on the relation how we interpret the situations coming to us. Sometimes, i often see, that the people are more emotionally connected to animals than their own loved ones. One of the reasons behind this that animals won't betray u as easily as men do.
