I am a filmmaker and startup advisor based in New York City. I currently attend NYU’s Tisch Graduate School of the Arts where I am focused on writing, directing and editing. I love watching films, but love making them more. My film website (and blog) is Tatvam.
Before making the shift to film, I worked in the business and technology world for several years. Most recently, I was Vice President of Product Marketing and Platform at eBay (a $400 million business). I also ran the Product Strategy and Product Management organizations and held roles in Corporate Strategy.
I serve on the board of Values Art Foundation, PhotoShelter and used to serve on the advisory boards of Kiva and Kaboodle. My detailed professional profile is here.
I am an MFA Candidate at NYU, have an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Stella Maris College, Madras University, India.
I grew up in Madras, India and have lived in Boston, San Francisco and Menlo Park before moving to New York.
I’ve come to love my name, Shripriya, which I quite hated when I was a child. I prefer it not be shortened to Shri.
