Sales will go up since people, like Shripriya, will now buy more unlocked iPhones. And Apple (presumably) makes the majority of its money on the hardware.

Now, if I was AT&#38;T, I guess I would be trying to use the Orwellian DCMA to try and restrain people from modifying something they OWN- even though Congress has expressly excluded cell-phones (why?!)... oh wait, AT&#38;T HAS decided to threaten lawsuits. What a surprise!</description>
