You can add China to that list.
On my first visit to China. The spitting was probably the biggest cultural shock for me. There was not a single place where people didn’t spit. Yuck.

Interestingly, in India, while people do spit almost everywhere, I’ve never seen anyone spit inside a home or apartment. That’s why I was so surprised to see the sign in an elevator!
