Even though I would also like a woman or African American as the next president, I am not convinced that Hillary is the one. She moves far to right on certain issues. She is more of a politician than someone who stands for certain values.

my site: http://hollywood-stars-photos.blogspot.com/

What's interesting to me are the Chinese characters. Why did you have a English & Chinese vote sheet. Can't believe it took 9 characters to translate Hillary's name. :) Most Chinese people only has 2 or 3 characters in the name. 1 for the family name and 1 or 2 for the first name.

BTW... congrates on voting for the 1st time. I know the feeling, I didn't get my citizenship until I was 24. I also remember voting for the 1st time. Unfortunately, For me the feeling goes away fast. I didn't vote this time because I have totally lost faith when Bush was re-elected for the 2nd term. Perhaps I'll vote for the next president but at this point, I couldn't care less for politics and who has the control of government.

Krish, I agree that Bill has more charisma, but he was also very much a politician. He could be down-home aw-shucks when needed and a sharp negotiator when needed. That's a politician, but it's not a bad thing...

In terms of Hilary - the reality is that I don't think, at this point, she could win. And it is more critical that the Democrats win.

In terms of your comment that she's too "right", I disagree. Not on Hilary, but on what is needed. The sad reality is that this is still a very conservative country -- I believe that it is much more likely that a moderate Democrat will win than a lefty Democrat. Again, I'd rather a moderate democrat win than have more of what we've been seeing.

I had the opportunity to listen to Bill Clinton's talk immediately after the Iraq war started. He is amazing. In my opinion, Hillary can't come anywhere closer to his charisma and political prowess. Even though I would also like a woman or African American as the next president, I am not convinced that Hillary is the one. She moves far to right on certain issues. She is more of a politician than someone who stands for certain values. I would like to see someone who is on the left side of Hillary on social issues.
