I am a Founding Partner at Spero Ventures and invest in the things that make life worth living: wellbeing; sustainability; learning, work, and play.

I’ve led product at several startups and held leadership roles at eBay, including running global product management and US product marketing.

I am a filmmaker. I’ve written and directed several short films including “Waking Jed,” a segment featuring Academy Award® nominees James Franco and Jessica Chastain that’s part of the omnibus feature film “The Color of Time”.

I started this blog in 2006. I use it to think through things. And to have a dialog. Sometimes, the conversations become a post. So please reach out.

In addition to serving on the boards of several of the technology companies in which Spero Ventures has invested, I also serve on the Boards of Directors of eBay and Turo, and on the Board of Trustees of The Sundance Institute.
